How to Use the Voodoo Doll in Phasmophobia

The Voodoo Doll, despite its inherent risks, offers a favorable risk-reward ratio in Phasmophobia. While game updates have adjusted its effectiveness, it remains a valuable tool. Its primary function is to provoke the ghost into revealing evidence. This is achieved by sequentially inserting pins into the doll. This is particularly useful when dealing with a reticent or elusive ghost, forcing it to manifest evidence like EMF5 readings or ultraviolet fingerprints.

Ten pins can be inserted, each provoking the ghost. However, be warned: each pin insertion costs 5% of your sanity. Inserting all ten pins will deplete 50% of your sanity, significantly increasing the risk of a ghost hunt.

The most significant risk lies in the heart pin. Pin insertion is random; if you hit the heart pin, you'll lose 10% sanity and immediately trigger a cursed hunt. This results in a prolonged and intensely close ghost hunt (20 seconds longer than a standard hunt).
