Application Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an engaging real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that thrives on competitive player-versus-player (PvP) action. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join and engage in fierce battles. Players have the freedom to manually control a diverse array of units and buildings, enhancing the strategic depth of the game.

Main Elements:

WOE immerses players in the medieval era, simulating 18 powerful Empires or civilizations, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, Maya, and more. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units and one unique unit, adding a layer of diversity to the gameplay. While regular units like Swordsmen, Pikemen, Archers, Light Cavalry, and Aries are consistent across all Empires, each civilization's unique unit—such as Mongolia's Riders, Persia's War Elephants, and Spain's Conquistadors—offers distinct tactical advantages.

Buildings play a crucial role in WOE, with structures like Towers, Turrets, Castles, and blacksmith shops contributing to strategic gameplay. Towers, for instance, can be fortified with 5 farmers to shoot 6 arrows simultaneously, while Turrets are specialized for demolishing enemy buildings.

Each Empire in WOE has its strengths and weaknesses, encouraging players to explore the detailed in-game introductions. For example, the Huns benefit from not needing to construct houses, saving time and resources, while their Cavalry is both cheaper and upgradable to Rangers. Conversely, the Teutonic warriors are powerful but slow-moving, reminiscent of historical Spartan warriors.

Highlights:

The core of WOE's gameplay revolves around multitasking key objectives: developing the economy by maximizing farmer production and resource collection, harassing enemy farmers to gain early advantages, and ultimately destroying enemy forces. Collaboration is vital, as players can form legions with allies to overcome numerically superior foes and protect vulnerable yet high-damage units.

Understanding unit counters and teamwork is essential. For instance, Pikemen counter Cavalry, Cavalry counter Archers, Archers counter Pikemen, Slaves (riding camels) counter Cavalry, and the Koryo Carriage counters all ranged units. Mastering these relationships can turn the tide of battle.

Game Modes:

WOE features two primary resources: Food and Gold. As players progress, they can upgrade their Town Center (TC) through various eras—from the dark ages to the feudal, castle, and emperor eras—unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units. The game offers four distinct modes, with Normal Mode and Imperial Deathmatch Mode being the most popular. Normal Mode focuses on resource management and early harassment, offering a complex yet rewarding experience. In contrast, Imperial Deathmatch Mode starts players in the emperor era with ample resources, enabling immediate, intense battles.

Main Features:

Having been successfully run in China for four years, WOE has evolved through numerous updates to its current 1.8.n version. Key features include Player vs. CPU battles, network play, spectator mode, replay functionality, map creation, legion formation, friend lists, and in-game chat, ensuring a rich and interactive gaming experience.
