WoW Housing: new details shared by Blizzard

World of Warcraft's highly anticipated housing system is slated for a 2025 release, with Blizzard offering a sneak peek at its features. The developers assure players that homes will be accessible to everyone, regardless of in-game achievements or financial status, and will remain accessible even with lapsed subscriptions. This exciting addition will be fully integrated with the upcoming Midnight expansion.

Initially, players can select a plot in one of two distinct zones: an Alliance-focused area (Elwynn Forest, incorporating elements of Westfall and Duskwood) or a Horde-centric zone (Durotar, featuring aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline).

These zones will be further divided into districts, each accommodating approximately 50 homes. Players can choose to establish their residence in an open area or within a private community alongside friends and guild members. A vast array of customization options will be available, with the majority obtainable in-game, and select items offered through the in-game shop.

Blizzard's vision for the housing system centers around three core pillars: extensive customization, robust social interaction, and enduring longevity. Further details regarding the housing system are promised in the future, and player feedback is actively encouraged.
