Teardown Expands with Multiplayer and Folkrace DLC

Tuxedo Labs has announced exciting news for Teardown fans: a highly anticipated multiplayer mode is on its way, launching alongside the new Folkrace DLC! This expansion will significantly boost the single-player experience with fresh maps, vehicles, and thrilling racing challenges. Players can compete in diverse events, unlock rewards, and customize their rides to become the ultimate track champion.

The multiplayer update will initially arrive on Steam's Experimental Branch, offering players early access and a chance to test the new mode. This early release is crucial for gathering feedback, particularly from the dedicated modding community. Upcoming API updates will allow modders to seamlessly integrate their creations into the multiplayer experience.

The developers have confirmed that multiplayer has been a long-term goal, driven by overwhelming player demand. This announcement marks a significant milestone for the Teardown team.

At launch, multiplayer will be available through the Steam Experimental branch, providing a testing ground for players. Simultaneously, the team will release API updates to support mod compatibility. After a thorough testing phase, multiplayer will become a permanent core feature of the game.

Looking to the future, Tuxedo Labs has revealed plans for two more major DLCs, promising even more content and excitement for Teardown players in 2025. Further details on these upcoming expansions will be shared later in the year.
