Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has rolled out an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing two fresh faces to the roster: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix. With their arrival, players can dive into new quests, participate in special events, and explore the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all while aiming to secure valuable rewards.
Spider-Woman swings into the game on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage expertise within The Contest. On the other hand, Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, debuts on April 9th. This dazzling yet dangerous assassin, crafted by The Founders, uses light manipulation powers to mask a lethal intent. To add Lumatrix to your team, gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids during the event, which runs until June 4th.

The new quest, Spy Games, immerses players in a thrilling narrative featuring Black Widow, who teams up with Spider-Woman to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Eidols' arrival. Expect twists and turns as these elite spies navigate through deception to uncover the truth behind Lumatrix's sinister light display. This event is available from March 9th to May 7th.
Deadpool also jumps into the fray with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion, Deadpool offers a stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following this, the Heart of Fire Sale, from May 7th to 14th, presents an opportunity to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.
Later this month, don't miss the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, shaking up the seven-day supply drop from April 18th through May 2nd. By hitting milestones, you can earn Poolshields, which are redeemable for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular log-ins for more free rewards.
