Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream to kick off the 25th anniversary celebration of The Sims franchise. The event showcased the exciting gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already begun with a new update addressing various bugs, featuring a redesigned main menu, and improved game optimization. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated houses are available immediately when starting a new game, or accessible via the library for existing saves.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th with an update delivering over 70 free in-game items! A new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," launches simultaneously. Players can unlock retro-themed items and a new collectible set by completing simple missions.
Furthermore, a new season called "Motherlode" starts in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Details about this season's content are currently under wraps, promising exciting surprises to come.
