Marvel Rivals Season 1 Unveils the Mystical Sanctum Sanctorum Map

Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces a thrilling new map: the Sanctum Sanctorum. This iconic location will host the game's newest mode, Doom Match, a free-for-all brawl for 8-12 players where the top half emerge victorious.

Beyond the Sanctum Sanctorum, Season 1 expands Marvel Rivals with Midtown and Central Park maps. Midtown will be the stage for a new convoy mission, while Central Park's features remain a mystery, promised for a mid-season update.

A recent video showcased the Sanctum Sanctorum's unique blend of lavish décor and surreal elements. Floating cookware, a bizarre refrigerator creature, winding staircases, and magical artifacts create a visually stunning and unexpected environment. Even a portrait of Doctor Strange himself adds a touch of whimsicality to the otherwise chaotic battleground. The video also offers a first look at Wong, a beloved character new to the game, and Doctor Strange's spectral canine companion, Bats.

This season's narrative centers around Dracula's villainous scheme against Doctor Strange, leaving the Fantastic Four to defend New York City. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut with the season launch, while Human Torch and The Thing join the fray in the mid-season update. The attention to detail in the Sanctum Sanctorum map, combined with the exciting new characters and game modes, promises a captivating season for Marvel Rivals players.
