Thunee, named after the Tamil word for water, is a beloved trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. This engaging game is derived from the popular Indian and Sri Lankan game, 304. Whether you're playing in Single Player mode or engaging in Multiplayer, Thunee offers an unparalleled gaming experience that simulates the excitement of the real game.

In Multiplayer mode, you have the option to invite someone to be your partner or challenge them to a game. Inviting others is seamless, thanks to push notifications and WhatsApp messages. The app keeps track of the results and statistics of games played with friends, which you can view on the statistics page. It's a great way to showcase who the top player is in your circle.

For beginners, the Easy difficulty level provides assistance and narration during gameplay, making it easier to learn the ropes.

The app is highly customizable through its settings/options, allowing you to tailor the game to your preferred style of play. You can adjust various options such as:

• Difficulty Level: Choose between Hard, Medium, or Easy.
• Score Assistance: Available for Medium and Easy levels, providing real-time trick/hand values and scores.
• Bidding Options: Decide when to be prompted to bid—either all the time or only when you have three or more cards of the same suit or J9.
• Early Win/Loss: Option to offer an early win or loss if you or your opponents have scored more than the required amount (enabled by default).
• Early Victory Claims: Allows you to claim victory early, including Double and Khanuck claims.
• Trick Clearance Time: Set the duration to clear a trick (hand), or choose to click on the trick to clear it immediately. The default time is set to 1 second.
• Vocal Sounds: Includes sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, and more.
• Game Appearance: Customize the background (or select your own color with a vignette effect) and change card packs.
• Royals Option: Play Thunee with reversed card values, where Queens become Jacks, Kings become Nines, and so on.
