WoW Reveals 2nd Timewalking Event Schedule

WoW's Extended Turbulent Timeways Event: Seven Weeks of Timewalking!

World of Warcraft's Turbulent Timeways event is back, and bigger than ever! Running for seven weeks until February 24th, this event features a non-stop Timewalking campaign, covering every expansion. Players can earn exciting new rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and enjoy a significant experience boost.

This extended event builds upon the five-week Turbulent Timeways event from September 2023. Players once again have the opportunity to earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, providing a 20% experience increase after completing four Timewalking dungeons.

But this time, the rewards are even better! Completing Mastery of Timeways for at least five out of the seven weeks unlocks the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, granting the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount. Timewalking vendors across all expansions offer new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor, and a second chance to obtain the Sandy Shalewing pet. Furthermore, the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest reward, the Cache of Nerubian Treasures, now contains Heroic-level gear during the event.

Turbulent Timeways Event Schedule:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

With this event following the 11-week World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary Timewalking campaign, players will have enjoyed 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking by the end of the Turbulent Timeways.

The Turbulent Timeways event's conclusion on February 24th also hints at future World of Warcraft plans. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, February 25th is a strong contender for the launch of Patch 11.1, Undermined, ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. Coupled with the second run of Plunderstorm (January 14th - February 17th) and the upcoming major content update for The War Within, World of Warcraft is poised for a busy and exciting start to 2025.
