Tech enthusiasts continue to explore screen adaptations of beloved franchises, with their sights now set on the Witcher series. A striking concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, crafted by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has recently surfaced.
The trailer masterfully captures the aesthetic of 1980s cinema, leveraging the power of neural networks to bring the project to life. Many familiar faces from the Witcher universe are featured, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While some minor stylistic alterations are present, the characters remain readily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of a Triss wedding scene, originally planned as the "Ashen Marriage" quest in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss falling for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, tasked with ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift chosen. Less impressive gifts receive a lukewarm reception, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional response.
