Unveil Honkai: Star Rail's Grand Anniversary in Version 2.6: Paperfold's Festivities

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age" Arrives October 23rd!

HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.6 update, titled "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, celebrating its anniversary with a flurry of student activities, club recruitment drives, and academic events.

The Spotlight: Rappa

The update's star attraction is Rappa, a new 5-star Galaxy Ranger character who also identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay incorporates ninjutsu, mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap! Rappa's mission? To hunt down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, features a first-person perspective, allowing players to decimate enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Events

• Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription: Manage a band and prepare for a killer performance at the Dreamlight Anniversary music party alongside Rappa.

• Warp Event: Limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine return in the warp event, spanning both halves of the update.

Simulated Universe Expansion

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 also significantly expands the Simulated Universe. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, a third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a massive void connected to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts. Players will collect and upgrade powerful Scepters (external thinking units composed of inorganic bionic neurons), creating synergistic combinations to defeat a challenging final boss.
