Unlocking Mistria's Fire Seal: A Guide

Following the March 10th update to *Fields of Mistria*, the path to the Fire Seal is finally open! But be warned, unlocking it requires a specific offering: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to acquire each item.

Where to Find the Faceted Rock Gem

This rare artifact is tucked away within the Fields of Mistria mines, specifically on floors 50-59. We discovered one on floor 56 after some diligent digging. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked spots on the ground. Be prepared for some grinding—it's a relatively rare find.

Where to Find Rockroot

Rockroot is a more common forageable plant found on the same mine floors (50-59). If you're a regular miner, you might already have one. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image. You only need one to proceed.

Where to Find Emerald

The Emerald is the easiest to obtain. These geodes are fairly common throughout floors 50-59 of the mines. You can also find them by breaking large boulders around Mistria, purchase them cheaply (200 tesserae) from Balor's Wagon, or craft them at the Stone Refinery (if unlocked via the March 2025 update).

How to Get the Sealing Scroll

The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the Fire Seal. You'll need to enlist Balor's help, which requires a payment:

• 10 Silver Ingots
• 10 Rubies
• 10 Sapphires
• 10 Emeralds

You likely have these materials already; otherwise, the mines are your best bet. Once gathered, deposit them in the bin near Balor's Wagon.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

Once you've collected the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. This unlocks the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and more during Early Access.
