Tony Hawk Insists Bam Margera Joins THPS 3+4

By GeorgeApr 18,2025

Bam Margera has been confirmed to be included in the roster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being initially listed. Skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley shared this news during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was already completed when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision to request Bam Margera's inclusion. Despite being initially told it was not possible, Hawk persisted, determined to see Margera added to the game. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known for his role in the Jackass franchise and his professional skateboarding career, has faced significant public struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab visits. He was also fired from Jackass Forever and faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats. Recently, Margera and Hawk shared a video of them skateboarding together, sparking speculation about Margera's return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game overcame challenges after the merger of previous developer Vicarious Visions with Blizzard, which had initially threatened its existence.
