RuneScape's newest challenge, the Gate of Elidinis, is now live! This thrilling new story quest introduces a unique skilling boss fight. Players embark on a quest to restore the corrupted statue of Elidinis, a sacred relic threatened by Amascut's dark influence.
Continuing the fight against Amascut's corruption (following the 'Ode of the Devourer' quest), the Gate of Elidinis offers fresh gameplay and familiar themes.
Confronting the Corruption
Once a sacred passage, the Gate of Elidinis is now a haunt for lost souls trapped by Amascut. Players, solo or in groups of up to ten, must cleanse the Gate. Preparation is key: mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are essential to combat the corruption. Strong Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility skills are crucial for cleansing the statue fragments and repelling Amascut's power. See the official update announcement below!
Rich Rewards Await
The rewards for purifying the Gate of Elidinis are substantial. New skilling and combat gear awaits, including the Runecrafting Off-Hand 'Runic Attunement' and the Divination Off-Hand 'Memory Locus'. A new Combat Prayer, a God Book, and a charming boss pet, Edie, are also available. For even more loot, participate in the Gate of Elidinis Hunt event; collect shards and complete tasks to earn cosmetic overrides and temporary buffs with the help of the Priestesses of Elidinis.
