Monster Hunter Now Season 4: A Frosty New Adventure Awaits!
Niantic's Monster Hunter Now plunges into a winter wonderland with the launch of Season 4! Brave the snowy tundra and face a host of new challenges and creatures. This icy expansion brings a wealth of content to keep hunters engaged, even with virtually frostbitten fingers.
What's New in Season 4?
Season 4 introduces a brand-new snowy tundra environment. Prepare for biting winds, deep snowdrifts, and a roster of formidable monsters. This season marks the debut of Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites include Barioth, along with smaller monsters like Wulg and Cortos. Tigrex will be a major player in Hunt-a-thons and may even make surprise appearances in the wild. Unlock these powerful creatures by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted upon completion of the prologue.
A thrilling new weapon joins the hunt: the Switch Axe! This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds. Unleash powerful, wide-ranging attacks in Axe Mode, then seamlessly transition to Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.
Customize your very own Palico companion! These helpful allies assist in material gathering and monster scouting. Tailor their fur color, facial features, and give them a name as unique and silly as you like. AR functionality allows you to bring your custom Palico into the real world for memorable photos.
Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering, adding a collaborative element to the hunt. Send cheers to your friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health that can be gained from cheers.
