The Story
Earth, or "The Sphere," faces imminent destruction at the hands of alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, frantically develops new technology to fight back. After years of setbacks, they finally amass the firepower for a counteroffensive, and you're at the helm, leading the charge to save the planet.
Gameplay
Sphere Defense faithfully delivers the core tower defense experience. Deploy various units, each with unique strengths, to repel waves of enemies. Successful attacks yield resources to expand and upgrade your defenses. Increasing difficulty levels demand strategic thinking and resource management.
The game offers three difficulty settings (easy, normal, hard), each with 10 stages lasting 5 to 15 minutes. See it in action:
Diverse Turrets and Units
Sphere Defense features seven distinct unit types, offering strategic depth through varied combinations. Attack units include the Standard Attack Turret (single-target), Area Attack Turret (area-of-effect), and Piercing Attack Turret (for linear enemy formations). Support units like the Cooling and Incendiary Turrets enhance your offensive capabilities. Finally, specialized attack units such as the Fixed-Point and Linear Attack Units provide precise, long-range firepower.
