Exciting news for fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game! The digital version, Pokémon TCG Pocket, is set to dazzle players with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon through the upcoming Shining Revelry expansion. This update will add a sparkling twist to your card collection, bringing the charm of Shiny Pokémon directly into the game.

When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, when the Shining Revelry expansion launches. This update is not just about Shinies; it brings over 110 new cards, including Shiny versions of fan-favorites like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. The digital format enhances the experience by making Shiny cards shimmer when tilted, adding a dynamic visual flair to your collection.

Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder, perfect for showcasing your prized cards. Alongside Shiny Pokémon, characters from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet such as Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono will make their debut in the game.

From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, offering you a chance to earn a deck ticket. This ticket can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks, giving you a great start to building your collection.

Shiny Pokémon have a rich history in the Pokémon TCG, first appearing in the Neo Destiny set from the second generation. The Hidden Fates set later set the standard for modern Shiny cards with its extensive Shiny Vault, paving the way for the exciting additions in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
