eXtas1s points to Bandai Namco, the publisher of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO and numerous other franchise titles, as a key Nintendo partner. This collaboration allegedly leads to the game's inclusion as a Switch 2 launch title. Released in October 2024, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO achieved phenomenal success, selling over 3 million copies in its first 24 hours—a remarkable feat for any fighting game, especially an arena fighter.
