TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), launching next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, promises a compelling blend of turn-based combat and roguelite gameplay. This creates a highly replayable monster-collecting experience. The Steam page highlights features including 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the official announcement trailer:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and if the mobile release coincides with the Switch and Steam launches. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds particularly engaging. Based on the Steam screenshots, it appears ideally suited for short bursts of play. Until its release, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here. What are your initial thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet? Have you played the original Coromon?
