Rhythm Control 2, a revival of the 2012 original, is now available on Android! This rhythm game features a diverse soundtrack spanning both Western and Japanese artists, offering a fresh take on the genre for mobile devices. Tap to the beat and aim for those ridiculously high scores!
For those with a longer memory (and my apologies!), Rhythm Control 2’s name might ring a bell. Originally released in 2012, the game reportedly topped charts in Japan and Sweden, making this sequel a highly anticipated return.
Featuring tracks from a variety of artists including Bit Shifter, YMCK, Boeoes Kaelstigen, and Slagsmålsklubben, Rhythm Control 2 offers a unique gameplay twist. Instead of the traditional falling icons, you'll tap six nodes in sequence, with increasing complexity and unexpected challenges as you progress.
Rhythm Control 2 feels like a welcome addition to the mobile rhythm game scene. While I enjoy Beatstar, its song selection sometimes feels a bit too mainstream. Rhythm Control 2 offers a refreshing alternative, challenging players with obscure tracks that could spark a lifelong love for niche genres (or at least a really high score!).
