Embark on a side quest in Monster Hunter Wilds beyond the thrill of hunting behemoths. This guide helps you snag the "A Prize Held High" trophy/achievement. Forget dragons and wyverns; your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, easily captured with your trusty Capture Net.
While these crabs scuttle across various maps, the Scarlet Forest offers a reliable hunting ground. Head to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp (located between Areas 2 and 6). Near the water puddle in this area, you'll find a Curioshell Crab spawning point. If you're having trouble spotting it, Alma might offer a helpful clue, mentioning a creature carrying something – that's your sign!
Equip your Capture Net, aim for the orange reticle, and capture the crab. Success nets you both the Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin. Remember, these crabs are quick, so anticipate their movements for a successful capture. Area 13 of the Windward Plains and Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest also offer potential spawning locations, though our testing shows the Flowering Rocks camp as most reliable.
