Get ready for Pokémon GO Fest 2025! Niantic is breaking tradition by announcing the dates early, allowing ample planning time. This year's in-person events span June, with three exciting locations:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29 - June 1
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 - June 8
- Paris, France: June 13 - June 15
While tickets aren't yet available, fans can begin planning travel and time off. Past events required selecting a specific date within the weekend window.
A global GO Fest event is expected later in June or early July, though no official date has been set.
Locations and What to Expect
GO Fest 2025 features two returning locations (Japan and the US) and a new one in France. Similar to previous years, a smaller-scale global event will likely follow the in-person festivals, offering worldwide participation.
Details remain scarce, but GO Fest typically introduces new Pokémon, enhanced raid battles, special spawns, shiny Pokémon debuts, and other in-game bonuses. Expect more information following the GO Tour: Unova event (February 2025, New Taipei City and Los Angeles). Last year's event, for example, introduced Necrozma and its Fusion mechanic.
