Pokemon GO "Steely Resolve" Event: Corviknight Arrives!

The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line (Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight) finally debuts in Pokémon GO on January 21st during the "Steely Resolve" event! This addition expands the game's Galar region Pokémon roster.

The arrival was subtly hinted at in the December 2024 Dual Destiny Season loading screen, showcasing Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. The wait is now over.

Event Details:

• Dates: January 21st, 10 AM – January 26th, 8 PM (local time)
• New Pokémon: Rookidee, Corvisquire, Corviknight

Event Features:

• Special Research: A new Dual Destiny Special Research with unique rewards.
• Field Research Tasks: Complete tasks for various in-game rewards.
• Paid Timed Research: A $5 Timed Research offering additional rewards.
• Bonus: Charged TMs can now remove the Frustration Charged Attack from Shadow Pokémon.
• Magnetic Lure Modules: Attract Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.
• Increased Spawns: Increased wild encounters for Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, Carbink, and more (see below for full list).

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st, 12:00 AM – January 26th, 11:59 PM local time):

• Bonuses: 4x Stardust from win rewards (excluding end-of-set rewards), increased daily battle sets (20 sets, 100 battles), free battle-themed Timed Research with Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes, and varied stats on Pokémon encountered via GO Battle League rewards.

Leagues: Master League, Color Cup: Great League Edition, Great League, Ultra League, and Master League will be active throughout the week. These leagues will also offer 4x Stardust from win rewards (excluding end-of-set rewards).
