Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is almost here! The global event kicks off March 1st and 2nd, but the "Road to Unova" pre-event begins February 24th, offering a chance to prepare.
This pre-event, similar to last year's tour, runs until March 1st. Players can complete challenges and earn rewards through various gameplay activities, including wild Pokémon encounters, raids, and special research.
A free Tour Pass is automatically awarded, providing a progression track with tasks, Tour Points, and bonus unlocks. A Deluxe Pass is also available for purchase, offering enhanced rewards, including a Victini encounter.
Shiny Meloetta makes its Pokémon Go debut! Available via a $4.99 Masterwork Research ticket (non-expiring), this offers a chance to catch this rare Pokémon. Additional tickets provide access to event-exclusive bonuses like themed hatching or raid rewards, plus exclusive avatar items.
Throughout the Road to Unova, expect encounters with Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, and their evolved forms in the wild. Raids feature Genesect (various drives), Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, and more, with a chance to catch Pokémon boasting special backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White.
