"Nolan North Welcomes Troy Baker to Elite PlayStation Adventure Game Club in Indiana Jones PS5 Trailer"

By EthanApr 24,2025

Bethesda has exciting news for PlayStation 5 fans: MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is set to launch on the PS5 on April 15 for early access, with a global release following on April 17. Those eager to dive in early can secure their spot by pre-ordering the game.

This PS5 release comes four months after the game's debut on Xbox and PC. Alongside this announcement, Bethesda released a playful promo trailer featuring a unique crossover of two iconic video game actors. In the trailer, Troy Baker, who voices Indiana Jones, sits down with Nolan North, known for his role as Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series. This meeting is a nod to the full circle moment for The Great Circle, considering the Uncharted series draws inspiration from Indiana Jones.

Adding a layer of intrigue, Microsoft-owned Bethesda cleverly included Nolan North in their advertisement. Although North avoids directly referencing Nathan Drake or Uncharted—terms owned by Sony—his delivery hints at his well-known character. In the video, North humorously suggests he "broke into" the room they're in, hinting at the kind of trouble his character often finds himself in.

The banter between the two actors is delightful. North teases Baker about facing Private Military Forces with just a whip, to which Baker responds by gesturing to his head, only for North to jokingly suggest a "headbutt." Their conversation highlights their characters' different approaches to ancient artifacts: Baker's Indiana Jones wants to preserve them in museums, while North's Nathan Drake would sell them to the highest bidder. North welcomes Baker into the "very exclusive club" of adventurers, symbolizing the game's arrival on PlayStation alongside Uncharted.

This move is part of Microsoft’s broader strategy to release games across multiple platforms, following the trend set by titles like Forza Horizon 5 and Doom: The Dark Ages. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has already seen success, reaching 4 million players thanks to its day-one launch on Game Pass, a number expected to surge with the PS5 release.

Harrison Ford, the legendary actor behind Indiana Jones, has expressed his approval of Troy Baker's performance in the game. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford humorously remarked, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it." Ford's endorsement underscores the quality and authenticity of Baker's portrayal of the iconic adventurer.
