Meta Stops Selling Quest Pro VR Headset

By DavidJan 25,2025

The Meta Quest Pro is officially discontinued. Meta's website confirms its unavailability, following earlier announcements about its impending end-of-life. Limited remaining stock may exist at select retailers, but availability is dwindling.

The high price point of $1499.99 significantly hampered the Quest Pro's market penetration, deterring both consumers and businesses. This contrasts sharply with the more affordable Meta Quest line, ranging from $299.99 to $499.99.

Meta recommends the Meta Quest 3 as a superior alternative. Priced at $499, the Quest 3 offers enhanced features including higher resolution, refresh rate, and a more powerful processor, all while delivering a compelling mixed reality experience. Its lighter weight contributes to a more comfortable user experience. Furthermore, the Quest 3 is compatible with the Quest Pro's Touch Pro controllers.

For budget-conscious users, the Meta Quest 3S provides a more affordable option at $299.99, albeit with slightly reduced specifications.
