Konami developers have shared details regarding the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Series producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a polished, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.
In a recent interview with 4Gamer, Okamura stated, "We are putting a lot of effort into finishing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He emphasized that the remake is already playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to refining details and enhancing the overall quality.
While PlayStation previously suggested a 2024 release, those plans were ultimately revised. Studio representatives now confirm a 2025 release date for the remake, which will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake promises to faithfully capture the spirit of the original while incorporating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond visual enhancements, Okamura also teased new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.
Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute video showcased dramatic moments, including the main character, key antagonists, an intense airdrop sequence, and a thrilling shootout.
