Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game Set to Launch
Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is poised to launch on August 29th, 2024. Available on Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other consoles for just $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and compelling narrative.
The Game's Premise:
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by destruction. Hope emerges in the form of AI girls, survivors tasked with restoring the world through the power of music. As you play, the story behind the apocalypse and the girls' existence gradually unravels, challenging you to uncover the truth and aid in their world-rebuilding endeavor.
Gameplay Features:
Featuring five AI girls and five witches, the game immerses players in rhythmic gameplay. Four difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard, and pro) cater to various skill levels, starting with four gameplay lanes and escalating to seven for a greater challenge. Players guide the AI girls on their musical journey, keeping the beat from the first note to the last.
The base game boasts 48 songs, with a season pass offering continuous new tracks. The soundtrack includes popular hits from Kamitsubaki Studio and the Musical Isotope series, such as "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra."
