Microsoft's recent ID@Xbox Showcase delivered a flurry of exciting updates and announcements for indie game fans. Highlights included the surprise release of Balatro on Xbox Game Pass on February 24th.
Another indie hit, Buckshot Roulette, is also joining the Xbox Game Pass family. This tabletop horror game, released in December 2023, quickly captivated over four million players with its thrilling—and terrifying—pump-action shotgun Russian roulette gameplay.
But the showcase wasn't just about Balatro and Buckshot Roulette. Numerous other indie titles were confirmed for Xbox Game Pass throughout 2025.

This impressive lineup is further enhanced by the addition of Watch Dogs: Legion (Cloud, Console, and PC) to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on February 25th.
