Following the pre-installation release earlier this week, HoYoverse has launched the highly anticipated Genshin Impact (Free) version 5.0 update, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," across mobile, PC, and PlayStation platforms globally. This major update introduces the new nation of Natlan, accessible to players of all levels, along with exciting new characters like Mualani, and highly requested character reruns including Raiden Shogun. The initial Genshin Impact 5.0 banner features Mualani, Kachina, and Kaedehara Kazuha, while the second banner showcases Kinich and Raiden Shogun. iOS users who pre-installed the update should experience minimal additional downloads, although a short delay may occur while the game reorganizes existing assets upon login. New players can download Genshin Impact for free on the App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android, or on PC via the official website and the Epic Games Store. iOS players using iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 and later can enjoy the game with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers.
