Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising game mechanic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This seemingly unbelievable strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed a weak DPS option, to dramatically reduce enemy health.
The exploit's simplicity is deceptive. Without delving into the game's code, the process involves placing multiple Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) near a boss. Activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst then triggers a significant health reduction.
This unexpected effect stems from the Elemental Burst's amplified AoE damage when interacting with objects. Deploying a large number of lanterns, potentially hundreds, can result in damage reaching millions.
While this exploit is undoubtedly a temporary advantage, likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to conquer challenging boss encounters.
