Epic Games has unveiled the thrilling new Battle Pass for Fortnite's upcoming season, aptly titled "Wanted." Forget codenames; this season dives straight into the action with a heist-centric theme. Expect a thrilling ride filled with armed villains, gold-laden getaway vehicles, and explosive bank vault breaches.
Kicking off on February 21st, the "Wanted" season features a spectacular crossover with the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise. Sub-Zero himself joins the Battle Pass roster, perfectly complementing the season's robbery narrative.
This collaboration cleverly promotes the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 film, starring Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.
Acquiring these coveted skins requires V-Bucks, Fortnite's in-game currency, with each character priced at 1,500 V-Bucks – no price adjustments this time.

Returning weaponry includes the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain undisclosed, speculation runs rampant among players. The EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler are rumored to make a comeback, echoing Chapter 4 Season 4's heist theme. However, these remain unconfirmed at this stage.
A highly anticipated addition is Smart Building, a game-changer that anticipates your building needs based on your aiming direction.
This heist theme extends to gameplay mechanics. Keycards are replaced by vault breaches, requiring Meltanite (Fortnite's version of thermite) to access the loot within.
