Dead Cells Mobile's final free updates delayed, arriving February 18th, 2025
The final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been delayed, but now have a confirmed release date: February 18th, 2025. These updates, already available on console and PC, introduce significant new content.
Clean Cut features two new weapons: the Sewing Scissors (Survival-focused) and the Giant Comb (Brutality-focused). A new NPC, the Tailor's Daughter, allows players to customize their character's appearance.
The End is Near adds new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. It also includes fresh skills and colorless mutations, such as Demonic Strength, a powerful curse-based damage boost.
A fitting conclusion to free updates
Playdigious has consistently provided substantial free content for Dead Cells. While the end of free updates was initially met with some disappointment, the developer has earned a well-deserved break to pursue other projects. The substantial content of these final updates is a testament to their dedication.
Both "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" will launch simultaneously on Android and iOS on February 18th, 2025.
