The second season of Amazon Prime's live-action adaptation of Fallout commences filming shortly, as confirmed by returning star Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson). Speaking to Screen Rant, Uggams stated that filming of Fallout S2 begins next month in November. This announcement follows the show's successful premiere months prior, leading to its second-season renewal.

Fallout S2 is anticipated to further develop the Vault-Tec storyline and resolve S1's cliffhanger, according to Screen Rant's report. Besides Uggams, the complete returning cast remains unconfirmed, though lead actors Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are presumed to reprise their parts. While Uggams offered few details about the next season's plot, she hinted that Betty Pearson, a Vault-Tec executive assistant, holds surprises for viewers. "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," Uggams said. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."

Furthermore, Fallout S2's release is projected for around 2026, considering post-production alongside the filming schedule. However, an official release date is pending. For context, Fallout S1 filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April this year.
