EA Closes Down

EA's long-running mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is officially ending. After a twelve-year run, the game will be unavailable for download starting October 31st, 2024, with servers shutting down completely on January 24th, 2025. In-app purchases have already been disabled.

The End of an Era

EA expressed gratitude to its players in the sunset announcement, acknowledging the successful decade-long partnership with The Simpsons and The Walt Disney Company that allowed players to create their own Springfield.

One Last Chance to Play?

If you've never experienced the joy of rebuilding Springfield after Homer's nuclear mishap, now's your last chance. The game lets you manage the town's reconstruction, interacting with iconic characters like Marge, Lisa, Bart, and even Fat Tony. Customize Springfield to your liking, expand to Springfield Heights, and even run Apu's Kwik-E-Mart.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a freemium game, regularly updated with content tied to the show and real-world events. Donuts serve as the in-game currency to accelerate progress.
