Dragonkin: New Demo Released, Updates Unveiled

Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, entering Steam Early Access. The early access launch includes the prologue and first chapter, playable with three distinct heroes: Knight, Oracle, and Barbarian. Players will also encounter four Vermplings – cooperative companions – and utilize the innovative Bloodline Grid skill system. Endgame hunting quests and initial hub city upgrades are also included. The demo is available now until March 3, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.

The developers have a robust roadmap for the coming year. Spring updates will add new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, more skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update will introduce multiplayer functionality, alongside continued refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city.

In Dragonkin: The Banished, players navigate a world tainted by ancient dragon blood, guiding a legendary warrior to defeat monstrous creatures and confront the Dragonlords behind the chaos. Character progression is driven by character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic Bloodline Grid system for ability customization.

Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
