In Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1, a unique Weekly Quest challenges players to choose between using or discarding an Oni Mask for bonus XP. Unlike typical challenges, this one offers a player decision.
How to Decide: Use or Discard the Oni Mask
The second set of Weekly Quests presents a twist. After locating a hidden workshop, visiting Kento, and investigating a Portal, players must collect either a Fire Oni Mask or a Void Oni Mask. These masks are readily found throughout the game world and on eliminated opponents.
The key is what happens after you pick up a mask. A subsequent quest appears, instructing you to "decide to use the Mask or rid yourself of it." This simply means either activate the mask's power or drop it from your inventory.

While you can choose to keep the mask, it's advisable to use its power immediately. Other players are actively hunting for masks, and eliminating you to acquire one is a common tactic. Using your mask first ensures you secure the XP and avoid having to search again.
