The creator of the YouTube channel Sora AI is at the forefront of these creative experiments, presenting a vision of a screen adaptation of CD Projekt RED's blockbuster game. This concept reimagines the game's beloved characters in a style reminiscent of 1980s action films, blending the familiar with the iconic flair of that era.
While some characters from CDPR have undergone significant transformations, their core identities remain recognizable. This concept includes characters from both the main game and the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion.
The recent advancements in DLSS 4 technology, including the introduction of the new Vision Transformer model, have significantly enhanced image quality through super-resolution and ray reconstruction. Additionally, the capability to generate two or three intermediate frames, rather than just one, has boosted performance considerably.
The performance of DLSS 4 was put to the test on the RTX 5080 using an updated version of Cyberpunk 2077. With path tracing activated, the game achieved a smooth frame rate of over 120 frames per second at 4K resolution, thanks to the improvements brought by DLSS 4.
