Critical Role, the wildly popular Dungeons & Dragons show featuring voice acting stars like Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, and Travis Willingham, is bringing its epic Campaign 3 to a close next week with a spectacular eight-and-a-half-hour livestream event.
As reported by Polygon, the grand finale begins February 6th at 7 PM Pacific Time/10 PM Eastern Time (3 AM on February 7th in the UK). Tune in on Critical Role's YouTube and Twitch channels, or via their membership service, Beacon.
This momentous episode concludes the thrilling journey of the Bells Hells adventuring party, a saga that began back in October 2021. While no direct spin-offs or sequels for this specific storyline have been announced, Critical Role assures fans that the tales of Exandria, the world that serves as the backdrop for all their campaigns, will continue to unfold.
"This finale for Campaign 3 marks the end of one very epic chapter of Exandrian history," shared creative director and cast member Marisha Ray. "But while we celebrate the end of this chapter, it's important to know that the story continues with a simple turn of the page. I'm very excited to see what happens next in this story that remains to be written by the incredible emergent storytellers who are picking up the pen."
The conclusion of Campaign 3 doesn't signal a pause for Critical Role. Another Exandria Unlimited mini-series, comprising four episodes, premieres just a week later on February 14th. Numerous other shows and streams are also planned for the future.
While the start date for Campaign 4 remains unannounced, past campaign intervals suggest it shouldn't be too long in coming. Considering the typical few-month gap between campaigns (for example, Vox Machina concluded in October 2017, with Mighty Nein starting in January 2018, and Mighty Nein ending in June 2021, leading to Campaign 3's October 2021 launch), an announcement—perhaps even a launch—around Critical Role's 10th anniversary on March 12th seems plausible.
