Bug Out Event Returns with Sizzlipede Debut in Pokémon Go

The Bug Out event is making a thrilling comeback to Pokémon Go, featuring an array of Bug-type Pokémon and introducing Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. Mark your calendars for March 26th to 30th, as this event promises a plethora of wild encounters, exciting raids, generous bonuses, and fresh challenges that will keep you engaged throughout.

Lure Modules will be your best friend during the Bug Out event, not only attracting Sizzlipede but also enhancing the Pokémon spawn rate at a PokéStop when enough Pokémon are caught using a single Lure Module.

To sweeten the deal, you'll earn double XP and additional Candy for Nice Throws or better, with heightened chances of obtaining Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. If Shiny Pokémon are your target, you'll be delighted to know that the odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are improved during this event.

Expect to see a swarm of Bug-types in the wild, including frequent appearances from Pokémon such as Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep your eyes peeled for the occasional Cutiefly.

In one-star raids, you'll have the chance to battle Sizzlipede alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor will dominate the three-star raids. Completing the event-themed Field Research tasks will grant you Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.
