The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers numerous rewards, but acquiring them presents challenges. One particularly tricky task involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a straightforward solution.
Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in identifying a broken item. Instead of searching, create a broken object yourself. While using the "prank" interaction is an option, it requires specific Sim traits. A simpler method is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks.
The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive choice. Using it approximately a dozen times will cause it to malfunction, resulting in a broken object status. This can be achieved by your Sim or by having other Sims use the toilet.
Repairing the broken object is simple once your Handiness skill reaches level 2. Select the "Repair" option on the broken toilet; after a short time, the repair will be complete, successfully finishing the Blast from the Past challenge.
