Krafton, inZOI's developer, utilizes NVIDIA's Ace AI to create advanced AI inhabitants, or "Smart Zois," who react dynamically to their environment and evolve based on their experiences. An NVIDIA GeForce YouTube video, "NVIDIA ACE | inZOI - Create Simulated Cities with Co-Playable Characters," showcases the Smart Zois' independent actions, breathing life into the game world.
When enabled, Smart Zois actively participate in city life, pursuing personal schedules—working, socializing, and more. Even without direct player interaction, these AI characters influence each other.
A kind Smart Zoi might assist others, offering food or directions, while a grateful Zoi could become a street performer's enthusiastic supporter, attracting a crowd. The in-game "Thought" system allows players to explore the AI's motivations. Daily self-reflection by each Smart Zoi shapes their future behavior.
