Among Us 3D: A First-Person Perspective on Deception
Innersloth, the creators of the wildly popular Among Us, are taking the game to a new dimension with Among Us 3D. Building on the success of their VR adaptation, Among Us 3D offers a fully immersive first-person experience without the need for a VR headset.
The core gameplay remains intact, but reimagined for standard PC setups. A recently released teaser trailer hints at the enhanced feel of tasks, emergency meetings, and sabotage from a character's perspective. Players eager to experience this new dimension can participate in a free demo during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival.
While a firm release date is pending, Among Us 3D will launch initially on PC, optimized for keyboard and mouse controls. A redesigned interface promises improved accessibility. Excitingly, cross-play functionality will unite Among Us 3D and Among Us VR players, though the original 2D version will remain separate.
Innersloth plans to introduce a new in-game currency, Stardust, within the next few months. This will fuel expanded customization options, allowing players to further personalize their avatars and contribute to the game's ongoing development.
