Story

The adventure kicks off in a lush forest near the village of Riders, where three young friends—the hero, Lilia, and Cheval—encounter a mysterious shining egg. In a playful attempt at the Rite of Kinship, they are astonished when the ritual actually works, and the egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, known as "the King of the Skies." They name their new companion "Ratha" and return to their village.

However, their joy is short-lived as a monster infected with "the Black Blight" attacks the village, leaving destruction and emotional scars in its wake. A year later, the hero is officially recognized as a Rider by receiving a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief. As Cheval and Lilia pursue their own paths away from the village, the hero, now partnered with the cheerful Navirou, sets out on a new adventure. Embark on a journey filled with friendship and triumph in the expansive world of Monster Hunter Stories!

• Due to updates in Google Play Games, the Network Battle function ceased to be available as of March 31, 2020. However, with the update to Ver.1.0.2, you can still access all Titles earned from Battle Ranks.
• Upon first launching the app, you must agree to the "Monster Hunter Stories End User License Agreement" found at http://game.capcom.com/manual/MHST_mobile/global/en/rule.php.
• The story remains the same as the introduction in the handheld console version, but some features like collaboration content, amiibo support, local Network Battles, and StreetPass are not included in this version.
• Deleting the app will erase any stored save data.
• This app requires a Wi-Fi connection for download.
• Battle Party QR codes from the Japanese version are incompatible with this version.
