About the Hazari Game:

  1. Player Setup: A 4-player game using a standard 52-card deck.
  2. Card Distribution: Each player receives 13 cards, totaling 52 cards.
  3. Card Arrangement: Players arrange their cards in descending order and signal when ready by calling "up."
  4. Game Start: Once all players are ready, the player to the right of the dealer begins by playing the first set of cards.
  5. Round Play: The player with the highest card value wins the round, collecting all played cards and initiating the next round.
  6. Scoring: Cards from Ace (A) to 10 are worth 10 points each, while cards from 9 to 2 are worth 5 points each.
  7. Winning the Game: The first player to accumulate 1000 points across multiple games wins.
  8. Tiebreaker Rules: If multiple players play the same card value, the player who played later wins.

Hand Rankings:

  • Troy: Three of a kind (e.g., AAA, KKK, QQQ, etc.).
  • Color Run: Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., AKQ of Spades, A23 of Hearts, etc.).
  • Run: Three consecutive cards of any suit (e.g., AKQ, A23, etc.).
  • Color: Any three cards of the same suit (e.g., K83 of Spades).
  • Pair: Two cards of the same rank with a third card (e.g., 443, 99J, etc.).
  • Indi or Individuals: Any three cards that do not form a recognized combination, with the highest card determining the winner.

How to Play:

  1. Initial Setup: Players arrange their 13 cards into four sets: three sets of three cards and one set of four cards.
  2. First Round: The first player throws three cards, and others follow suit with their highest-value three-card set.
  3. Subsequent Rounds: The winner of each round throws the next set of cards, and the process repeats.
  4. Final Round: The winner of the third round plays the remaining four cards, and the highest value wins.
  5. Game Continuation: Play continues until a player reaches 1000 points.
