DAB+ Radio USB

This app provides a streamlined interface for controlling USB DAB+ receivers (not SDRs), especially designed for in-car head units. Its simple design features a user-friendly slideshow and avoids the need for station logos or a network connection.

Important: This app requires a USB receiver with one of the device IDs listed below. It will not function without a compatible receiver.

New Features (Version 1.1.6):

• Save and share/export currently displayed information text to a file (appends to existing file).

Existing Features:

• Customizable info text color (long-press the info text area).
• Experimental steering wheel button support (see details below).

Steering Wheel Button Mapping:

• Skip Next: Advances to the next station.
• Skip Previous: Returns to the previous station.
• Play: Cycles through station filters ("All," "Selected Program Type," "Favorites").

This app isn't intended to compete with the excellent "DAB-Z" app. It's geared towards users who prefer a simplified interface with large, easily accessible buttons and selection areas, ideal for less-than-perfect car touchscreens.

Screen Optimization:

The app is optimized for 1024x600 landscape-mode car screens. If you experience display issues with different resolutions, please report them on the XDA Developers website (link provided).

Open Source Basis:

This app is based on the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
