Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming OC 16GB Graphics Card
$979.99 at Amazon
Although the MSRP for this card is listed at $979.99, it's actually priced higher than it should be. A reference GeForce RTX 5070 Ti card is supposed to sell for $750. Gigabyte's WindForce triple fan cooling system typically adds a $50 premium, and the overclocked out-of-the-box feature might add another $50. That puts the expected price at around $850, which is approximately $120 less than the current asking price.
The reality is that third-party manufacturers like Gigabyte, MSI, and Asus are capitalizing on the high demand by marking up prices from the start. Unfortunately, finding another RTX 5070 Ti GPU at this price or lower is challenging, as they are generally selling for over $1,000 on eBay.
The RTX 5070 Ti GPU Has Excellent 4K Gaming Performance
Among the Blackwell cards released so far, the RTX 5070 Ti offers the best value, especially when compared to the previous generation GPUs. It performs comparably to the RTX 4080 Super and even outshines the RTX 5080, which is only about 10%-15% faster but costs 33% more. This GPU delivers high framerates in nearly all games, even at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. If you're considering using this card for AI tasks, the RTX 5070 Ti might be a better value than the RTX 50870, as both are equipped with the same 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas
"At $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the best 4K graphics card for most people, delivering much better value than either the RTX 5080 or 5090. Across my entire test suite, this GPU excelled at 4K, coming within striking distance of much more expensive graphics cards. And that's before considering multi-frame generation, which will make the RTX 5070 Ti even better at achieving extremely high framerates, albeit with a slight increase in latency."
